Christmas in March

We have had a lot of fun the last few days getting a ton of packages from Jake's mom. When we left for Virginia, I left all of my junk at home, besides the things I really needed, so Kim is going to be shipping it to us. Obviously she likes shopping though (which I'm very glad she does!) cus she keeps buying me things and sending them to me. On Monday I went down to the UPS store and had one box to pick up. I was so excited the whole way home and was jumping up and down and screaming while I was trying to open it. This is what we got the first day.

The next day was even better. I was so sad cus I went to the store and checked my box and there was nothing in it. I started to leave and the lady told me not to go anywhere. She said they had just got a ton of boxes for me.

We got 7 packages this day!
There was no way I could wait for Jake to get home from work to open them with me. I was way too excited. So I started ripping open boxes and made a huge mess.
We got a ton of Costco food :)

And lots of more fun things. I think I married into the right family :)
I did learn something today though... don't ever put dishwasher soap in a baskin robbins container...
I don't know if Jake never had to do dishes or what but he picked up the container and opened up one of the soaps and said, "What kind of candy is this?" Before I could yell, "No, don't eat that!" he had stuck the soap in his mouth. It was funny to watch his face as he realized what it was. He was pretty mad at his mom- he told me to tell her to never send something in a container like that unless it really is candy. He said it hadn't smelt like soap (but Im betting it tasted like soap). Wow, I love my husband...

Today I went and checked for packages again and we had 2. We got these 3 nice lamps and some dinnerware that I love! from Kim.
Everything has been so fun to get and we appreciate it all so much! There are more packages on the way and we cant wait to get them! For Jake's sake I hope there's no more falsely packaged dishwasher soaps...
