3 Weeks

In 3 weeks Jake will be done with the navy! I am so excited and can't believe it is almost here! His last day of work was supposed to be June 6th but the ships schedule changed so May 28th is his last day! He is getting out at the perfect time too! 

They left April 12th and were only supposed to be gone 2 weeks. The day before they were supposed to be home they informed them that they were going to go help another ship do some drills and wouldn't be home until May 18th :( Then the ship is leaving again on May 21st and they won't be back until the end of July! Luckily for Jake he will only have to go for a week and will get to fly home from New York on the 28th and be done! I'm so excited! We are going to hang out in Virginia Beach until June 25th and then head home :) It will be nice to have June to spend together. I plan on going to the beach a lot and enjoying our time here. I've loved living here and it will be sad to go but we're excited to live close to family and most of all just to be able to live a more normal life and see each other everyday.
