Our Apartment

 So I thought I would post pictures of the apartment since I know my mom has really wanted to see it. We really like the setup of the apartment and the location. We are just not in love with the actual apartment complex and all of the problems we have had.
When you walk in our kitchen is right to the left. I like the setup of this one a lot more than our last and there's a lot more cupboard space.

Entryway

 I saw pictures of the tissue pom poms and I thought they looked like fun to make. They turned out so ugly. There is one side that looks decent but as you can see in the picture they usually spin to the ugly side. I'm sure one day I am going to walk into the room and rip them down.

This little bathroom is connected to our bedroom and it's amazing how nice it is to have 2 toilets in the house (and to have my own bathroom :)). I swear every time me and Jake go somewhere the second we walk through the door we both have to go to the bathroom so it's been really nice not to have to race him to it.

 We threw everything in this room for about a month and a half and it was such a mess- I finally got it organized and put together.

 I really hate sliding glass doors. Especially when they lead out to a crappy piece of cement that can't really be called a patio. I'm just glad I only have 1 in this apartment and not 2 like the last one.

 I swear Virginia does not believe in overhead lights! Every place I have been in never has lights in the living room or bedrooms. It's really annoying.

I'm just going to school right now and I love it! Jake has hardly been home since he's been back from deployment so we are getting really sick of that. They left January 17th and were supposed to be gone a week and a half. 3 weeks later and they're still not home... That's his captain for you though. They are supposed to be home Friday so I'm crossing my fingers his captain doesn't decide to go on a dolphin tour or something stupid that he would decide to do just so the ship could be gone longer. Ok sorry to complain, I hate when people complain, we just can't wait til this summer so he can be done with the navy and we can have a normal life :) It's coming soon though and we are so excited!
