Finally an update...

Im sick of hearing Jake tell me that I never update my blog but I never have anything to blog about so I finally had something "blog worthy"
On Friday I had Jake's brother's Kade and Joe come over and I spent the day with them. Joe helped me make homemade pizza for dinner. I was impressed how well he did. Later that night we went to the corn maze in Ontario. I love his brothers, they are so funny.

He is such a funny kid :)

On Halloween Genniel and Spencer had a Halloween party at their house. We ate dinner and played games- it was a lot of fun! There were some pretty good costumes too. Spencer's was definitely my favorite :)
Taylor has been such a good friend to me since I've been home. We worked at Purdums together so we have been able to spend a lot of time together the last few months. It's been really fun to get to do things with her and I'm so lucky to have her for a friend :)
Purdums closed on Halloween for the season. I'm so glad that I was able to work there. I'm really excited for some free time though! Now I won't have an excuse for not doing my homework and I really have to start making crafts for my mom's craft show!
I'm taking 16 credits this semester at TVCC. I like school but I think I'm ready for this semester to be over! Jake gets home Saturday, December 10th and I can't believe it is coming so soon! I've been so blessed this deployment and it really hasn't been that bad. It's not something I would ever want to do again but I can't complain too much- it could have been a lot worst! I can't wait for him to be home though!!! I have school finals the whole week that he is coming home so I hope that I can get them all done, get on the road, and be to Virginia by the 10th! I guess it's going to be another quick trip. I'm really not looking forward to that 38+ hour drive there...
I just found out on Sunday that I am going to Hawaii for thanksgiving with Jake's family so I am SSOOO excited! I wish Jake could come too!

Jake sent all of these pictures a long time ago. Here's a look at some of the things he's been doing.
This is the fish Jake caught

I don't know how you can smile when all you have seen is water for days!
