It was pretty cold and windy outside most of the day so we tried to stay inside as much as we could. We were up in the pilothouse most of the day (where they steer the ship from and all of the higher up people stand)
It was so pretty looking around seeing nothing but water. I don't know how they handle seeing this sight for months at a time though. Im pretty sure I would lose my mind.

Jake chilling in an engine room
Looking off the back of the boat as we are sailing away to nowhere
The ship started leaning so much. Jake was trying to stand up straight. (This is right before a bunch of stuff got knocked over)
I got to shoot a 25mm. It was awesome! Jake was so jealous cus he's never got to do it before. I had a video of me doing it but it won't upload. It was like playing a video game. I just sat in the pilothouse, watched a screen, aimed where I wanted to shoot, and pushed a button. It was pretty cool.
The gun I shot (this isn't me shooting it)Jake taking bearings
The tugboats assisting us pulling in.
We had a lot of fun though and it was cool to see what all goes on on the ship and what Jake has to do. (Now I feel bad for him- I know I couldn't do his job and put up with the people he works with). Jake's ship leaves May 11th and isn't supposed to be back until December 10th. Its coming up so soon and we are not ready for him to leave!
