Home for Christmas

We were so glad that we got to come home for Christmas. We came home on December 17th and were so excited to finally make it to Boise after a long day of flying.
Mom still had a lot of shopping to do so I went with her a couple days and helped her finish. Brody had a lot of basketball games so I got to go to a few of them too.

On Christmas Eve we went to my families shop party and ate, played games, and talked. Of course there were all the little kids running around getting covered in dirt and having a blast which was fun to watch.
Later we went to Jake's grandparents house and ate and opened presents. We had a lot of fun and of course got spoiled by his grandparents. We are so excited because that night they told us that his parents and grandparents are going to buy us a table that we pick out for our house. It will be so nice to have a table!
We were so glad that our 2 parties were only a couple of miles apart so we could go to both of them.
(I was REALLY bad about taking my camera out while I was home, I think I only took 3 pictures, so I only have the ones my mom took. I need to get pictures from Jake's family)

On Christmas Eve we spent the night at Jake's house and opened presents with them in the morning. On Christmas morning they surprised me and had a stocking with my name on it that looked like the rest of theirs. It was really cool because they had asked my mom to make it for me. (I wish I had a picture of it). It's really cute though. It was a good surprise.
We opened lots of presents and got spoiled by Dan and Kim. They got me some cute stuff for my house, a really cute trunk, some clothes, and lots of other things. I'm so glad that I have good in-laws.
It was fun to watch Kade and Joe open their presents and get excited over things. I wish I would have taken more pictures but this is the only one I took.
We ate a really good breakfast and then went to my house and opened presents. We got spoiled there too. I got things for my house, some clothes, and other things. Jake got Kinect so we were both pretty excited about that.
After everyone watched us open our stuff we opened presents from each other. Jake really spoiled me this year- Im so lucky! (I felt like I ripped him off). He got me the Willow Tree nativity set  that I really wanted. A new set of scriptures, a pair of sweats, and a few other little things. I got him a watch, a book he wanted, a few small things, and then for his main gift I am letting him take guitar lessons next year. If we are going to start a band like he wants to then he really needs to learn to play the guitar. haha
Later that day we visited family. I think this is the best Christmas I have ever had! Not only because I got spoiled but because I had such a good time being with everyone. Im so thankful for how lucky we are and that we were able to be here for Christmas with our families!
Jake had to go home a few days later so I was sad about that but I stayed until January 7th.

On December 29th we went and saw Ashton. I havent seen him for a year and I've really missed him. I couldn't believe how much older he acted since I had last seen him. He's such a cute kid.

One night me and some of my best friends went and ate at Fiesta. It was so much fun- I have missed them all so much!

Mom, me and Charley sitting at more basketball games...

Before I left I gave lots of haircuts. I think Kory was most in need of one. I didn't even ask if he wanted one, I just told him to sit down.

Randy and Kiah had their baby (Brody) the day before I left so I got to go see him. He is such a cute baby!

The day I left I decided I would get up and see the boys before they left for school. I am going to miss them so much! I love my brothers. I'm going to miss chasing Anthony around the house and beating him up...
Poor Charley had a hard time letting me go. She wouldn't go to school that day because she wanted to go to the airport. She was crying all morning because she didnt want me to leave. I had to remind her though that just a few days before she had been telling me to "go back to Virginia!" She's a funny girl and I am going to miss her too.
I'm so glad that me and Jake got to come home and spend some time with our families! We had such a good time- I just wish Jake could have stayed as long as I did.
