I have let myself get way too far behind so I am finally catching up.
Jake's 23rd birthday (August 11th):
We went to dinner at Olive Garden with his grandparents and then we met Troy and Courtney and Kory and Rebecca at Red Robin later. We embarrassed Jake by having them sing happy birthday to him. We were so sick after leaving from eating so much in one night!
My parents got Jake a little barbecuer for his birthday. He loves it! I love it too cus it means less dinners that I have to make. We have used it so much the last few months!
The first weekend in September Ashton got baptized. I was so glad I got to go to it! The whole family went :) It was such a great experience. His baptism was so good. I love this boy so much and have really missed him! He is growing up so fast and getting so tall! (and handsome :))

He was so sick of having pictures taken by everyone :)
We went to a birthday party at the Vickers one night and Jake got so many mosquito bites! He still swears (2 months later) that he has west nile, I tell him he is fine. He is a little bit of a hypochondriac haha
Jake has been able to do so much hunting. He's been in heaven! He has gone any chance he gets.
He even made a ghillie suit.
Got a nice buck :)
and lots of pheasants
One day we made a trip up to the Twin Falls Temple. It was a fun day. We are excited for the Boise temple to reopen.
Jake has been really good about making dinner. I am in school right now so I love nights when he takes over.
I came home from school one day and he was pulling homemade biscuits out of the oven :)
We made a quick trip up to Portland cus Jake had a Dr's appointment. It was a fun little get away even though it was way too short.

We also went to McCall with the Vickers one weekend. It was so fun! There was a ton of snow. We played lots of games, ate good food, and had lots of laughs! We love hanging out with them :)
My 23rd birthday (November 4th):
I had the best birthday this year! I got spoiled by Jake and my parents. I loved everything I got!
Jake set up a birthday party for me. He planned everything and wouldn't tell me anything cus he wanted me to be surprised. He put so much work into it and it was perfect. He made these cute little sliders (made the buns from scratch and made the hamburger patties)
He also made really good Kabobs for lunch.
We just did a lunch and hung out. We pulled out old home videos and watched some. They were funny!

The Boise temple open house has been going on and it was so cool to go to. It is so pretty inside! One day I got to go with Charley and my mom.
One night we took Jake's cousin Nate and his wife Kassidi to the temple open house. It was a fun night! They are so fun to be with!
